I wouldn't say most are born evil... Many certainly grow up to become evil though.

If someone is "carrying baggage" as you say, i explaine that personally akin to "like father, like son" type of deal.
Your parents, surroundings & upbringing make up most of your personality...

That being said: to do evil is way easier than doing good, so most (if not all of us) end up having sins they must conquer

I'm not that religious of a guy, though I gave church a fair shot a couple of years back.

I think many of Christianitys teachings are absolutely great and make a lot of sense.

That the capacity to do evil lies in our free will is one of them.

Yes, I'm deeply invested into the metaphysics of reality. I don't judge or impose my ideas onto people that's not my place at best I will prostalarize at "worse" I simply don't care what people do with there lives. If God gave us free will who am into impose something that even he didn't.

I try to attend church every Sunday if not in person in a suit or on zoom. Thursday Bible study with the bros, it's a good time.

I want to say I don't think I'm a good person by any stretch of the imagination or a good Christian. Even between everything positive into for the people in my life I'm still really pretty much a bad guy and I don't think that I'm trying to be a good guy but I like making people feel good around me.

And I'm not right wing or left wing I think the closest thing you could consider me is a libertarian ancap.

I feel like we have talked about this a lot before.

Simply put the world we live in and experience is a fraction of a fraction and human words will never fully describe what I think is happening it would just be a cheap analog.
