I dont know why you wouldnt compare them aside from the fact that they are all action rpgs with superb gameplay and comparing them to a straight RPG just isnt fair because gameplay isnt primary for RPG

I definitely could but if I got more JRPG experience I'd probably be harsher with at least half of these Final Fantasy titles. Considering everything I've played so far my opinions on the newer games (13 and higher) wouldn't change much but I bet there's a better, shinier version of 10 out there for ex.
