regretting fighting the bulette I should have went to the city to get the king's corpse I have a great plan now

I could have as an artificer carved a fake wooden head and used magic tinkering on it to make it realistic like skin, then made a mannequin body to put clothes on and glued the two. Someone else could’ve used the bag of holding to put the real body in it and put the fake body in its place. Finally the fake embalmer could’ve just made an escape. It really seems like if I just think hard enough I have the tools to do almost any non combat situation. At the very least adventuring in the total wilderness and the like over sneaking around in bountyland where I have a bounty seems like a total suicide route.

Although I'm not sure if the enemy already knew who we were and had the bounties up etc so yeah.

actually I think it'd take too long. I would have to find another body, carve a mask and put it over that body and call it a day.
