Anime Stories Ruined by their Length

Howdy Doody!

Everyone knows that it is not uncommon for some stories to be stretched because editors and publishers forced the Mangaka to add more fight scenes to squeeze in more views or sell merchandise. Meanwhile, some stories were shortened because the publishers deemed it not profitable or the producers gave it a tight budget/schedule. There are other reasons as well but in the end quality of the story is reduce. So, I wanted to know what in your opinion are stories that were ruined by their size.

Oda himself confirmed once that One Piece was suppose to be 40-60% its actual size. It was considering how successful it became they decide to squeeze the story for every penny they can earn.
