I think it has something to do (at least partially) with a gooners inevitable spiral into succ/tulpa maxxing. From there, they might learn about sex magic and end up becoming a goon mage. Using their goon nectar in "potions" or "rituals", or casting "spells" right as they climax.
Once they have their foot in the door, they suddenly have an insight into esoteric practices and beliefs. Since the average gooner is pathetic and maladjusted, this new knowledge might give them an ego boost that they didn't have before. Knowing things that normies aren't aware of might give them a sense of superiority.
