The reason is simple. We live in a negativity economy. This means that people make money by posting negative content. The way these people accumulate income is by feeding negative algorithms that make people doomscroll endlessly. Then they offer solutions, courses, tips etc for money. If the whitepill was more widespread these content creators and social media companies which make adrevenue when people doomscroll wouldn't get as much money.

In the modern society people feel so much more shitty and sad and everything else that they of course would prefer the blackpill

compare this to for example my grandpa born in 1943 in rural Finland, he wouldve prefered the whitepill all the way

Nowadays we are forcefed this ”everything is bad its so over” mentality but back when our grandparents were born nobody even had the time to think about anything negative at all
