what does "Underground music" mean to you?

When i was younger underground imo should mean not on MTV with no record lable. Now nobody even watches TV and music is so diverse peaple (atleast me) would have to do research to find out if they have a record label not sure if they even still exist

The covers for these types of albums are crazy cool, but it's a shame that all of the music is basically stolen
