I posted a method to impregnate wood 100% demonstrating is possible with oil. They said it's impossible even after I demonstrated it.

A second thing, I made a varnish that can be heated, they framed it as "giving advice".

They have a rule against unverified people giving advice. I didn't give any advice.

Also, it's kinda gay that even wood work now has "experts" inside digital communities.

These so called "experts" aren't even involved in online conversations. Whoever uses the authority of "the expert" is almost never the expert himself.
People who have experience are perfectly capable of deriving their info from first principles. It's normies who instead can't, and they have to derive info from "what experts said".

Who abuses "expertise" is not the expert himself, notice it. Especially in smaller communities related to hobby.

It's the same with drawing related. Actual expert Asian gurus will never shame you for having an opinion, who does so is the lowly normies.

I realized normies are kinda like clams, they attach themselves over a body and parasitize it. The abuse of expert authority never came from the experts themselves, is mostly a function of public dialog, and is perpetrated by the normies.

Every hobby community on the internet is contaminated with "experts" and have a local clique that dominates the narrative on it. And when you show your work to them, they get jealous and threaten you with bans and restrictions, or then try to ignore your work the most they can, effectively ostracizing you. The current internet is a graveyard of talent.

Why didn't you climb the hierarchy? If you want to be your own authority and "give advice" and not join the clique, create and run your own blog.
