Philosophy Weighing the consequnces

The assumption in movies and in mystical traditions, that when you engage in black magick there is a consequence for doing so, whether that is cursing yourself or allowing something into your life the point is to weigh the consequnce is power worth the cost of altering your perception of reality, knowing you will not have many equel to you? Learning is not one thing, it is a responsibility and one that requires you to be ready to shed your ignorance and recognize reality as it occurred. The essence is, are you ready to align with reality and seperate yourself from those who don't educate themselves? I think if one weighs the odds of whether living or dying is worth it, I'd say dying is preferred to living. Think of it like this, imagine everyone values gold, so that means everyone will do anything and everything they can to obtain it, so everyone high and low will fight each other for gain, causing chaos within the realm.

The essence is that since everything or most beings on this planet have a will or volition everything is trying to survive, the parasite, the cicada, the lion, whale and fish. Yet everything is fighting, dying and in general is trying to exist. Everything is eating and killing each other for sustenance, trying to persist in a world they know nothing about. So if you ask, okay say I live, what will I deal with for the rest of my life? Old age, sickness, going blind, murder; Going to work at a soulless job having to woo a woman. Is all of thay worth it? Where as if you die, if you go back to heaven or straight to hell, was existing in this life really worth all its imperfection & complete and utter lack of ability?

I personally think a perfect nothing is better then an imperfect something, if its all pitch black; what would be so bad about that? You don't suffer, you don't eat, sleep, urinate nor defecate; what is terrible about that? Do you really love this life or do you care becuase you have something to lose??
