China is much more powerful than Japan was in WW2, but America wants to kill them for a similar reason. China has more industry than anywhere on earth. They have a massive domestic market. America doesn't want a competitor. It doesn't want to be a country among other countries. It wants to dominate the entire world. It's not about survival. The country won't cease to exist if it lost some influence. It's all about domination. It would rather start WW3 than allow other countries to be free.
WW3 will be a total war situation. It will be the most intense war in human history. It will involve millions of soldiers and the use of nuclear weapons, possibly a full blown nuclear exchange. Russia will be involved. They will support China because they have a shared interest in avoiding being conquered by America. North Korea and Iran are involved for the same reason.
