Culture What do you guys think of normies who choose career paths purely out of monetary desire?

Like you'll find that one guy who slanders around people who choose a degree outside of the well-paying ones.

Honestly though, if I had to choose a career path like computer science, I'd lose all hope in my life knowing that all I could be in life was a fucking guy inside a cubicle.

Rather than that, why not simply choose something which you like to do, while keeping the cost as a secondary factor?

I personally would VERY much love to do stuff like being in the military or being a sailor, regardless of pay.

But then those sheep will come around braying on about how I won't be able to provide for some foid and her/my kid in the future, something which I'm less than zero interested in.

Remember, you are part of a society and man does not labor alone, when man walked the earth he worked to survive or rather; thinking in his context he survived, the skills and abilities he learned & gained came from nessecity because circumstance demanded it. Most of all, he existed but did not know why he existed; thus like an animal persisted in any form he could of it meant that he lived. Money is new and flawed it was a tool to control a people, if we ever asked "how did man think of money?" My answer would be, if you wanted to control the mass, who lives and who dies WHAT TOOLS WOULD YOU NEED?

Hence I say, careers are fashioned to betray, controlling your thoughts, actions and motivations night and day.

You die for a dollar, printed out of nothing. A machine does it better and your left with nothing.

And so I say, work for the better, work for an ideal, work to better the human condition.
A better life is possible, but the question remains, do you dare to try?

in terms of meaningfulness, humans thrive in small communities where everyones labor is meaningful. economic systems are meant to enslave. A job that gives me more than the other means nothing. I'm still enslaved in the system no matter if I make 5 or 6 figures. and 9 times out of 10, the work is monotonous and meaningless outside of upping shareholder value.

Fair point, one aspect of these systems as that we recognize the need for labor, because evidently we are dependent upon one another whether in small groups or large gatherings. If God has given man different abilities, we should use them a d direct them towards quality ends.
