Its not nuclear war. Maybe its poison gas. Bio warfare something like that. Im assuming nature takes over. I watched a documentary saying nature would reclaim fast without people but Chornobyl looks untouched. Maybe 600 years. however long it takes to make the previous civilization irrelevant

I have two choices: Finland as its got big forests and beautiful nature, plus natural thermal hot springs.

New Zealand as its really out the way of everything and has cool unique wildlife.
