For me, it was these two employees at Burger King one time... MAYBE McDonald's, but probably Burger King.
So the customer in front of me had ordered their food. I was next in line. Then these two employees just sort of stared at me with an emotionless zombie look, literally not saying a SINGLE word. Like not even a "hello" or something. And they were 100% motionless. Weren't blinking, didn't seem to be breathing either. Then I ordered my food, and they also didn't say anything. They just simply took my money and walked off.
Then when one of them came back with my food, I said "thank you very much" and they literally just rolled their eyes at me and walked away.
As for the food itself... it was pretty bad. Even for fast food standards. Not the absolute worst ever but pretty bad.
So it's pretty obvious those two employees clearly hated their jobs and didn't give a shit about doing it well.
As for the interaction (or lack of, lol) itself... it was rude, yes, but even more so weird as hell and kind of creepy, lmfao.
Like I know to not expect much from fast food employees. But this was a whole 'nother level that only happened once.
And the employee rolled their eyes because I said "THANK YOU VERY MUCH?" If that's how they treat polite people I don't wanna know how they treat aggressive people.
Like I get that these fast food workers hate their jobs (and probably their lives) and make very little money but you at least gotta do the bare minimum. You don't need to act like your customer's best friend or anything, but at least greet them and not roll your eyes when they say fucking thank you.
