Im not expert in anarcho primitivists, but I read they dont like tech and so on. They are very boring. I think they exist to prove the feminist theory on toxic masculinity. I think they understand masculinity with this concept of having stinky armpit is "masculine". But I digress, its all macho posturing but they are very out of shape, probably they also rejected gym tech and supplements.
Which tech they recommend, which they say is bad? Also, why do we have to follow their subjective decisions and we cannot decide on our own which tech is good and which tech is bad?
They dont seem to have a single agreed "approved tech list", like amish community does. They seem to simply cope with aesthetic (bad aesthetic) and the relentless quote-spamming of nietzsche. Then they repeat mantras like "technology alienates". Which is true or false depending what tech they refer to, but since they dont give you a list of "approved tech", all you get is subjective stuff invented by some guru.
No, I dont think they focus on industry or have ever wrote anything coherent on any tech, what I read mostly is cheap criticism of modernity and info laundering.
Who criticizes tech good is trannies usually, they enter STEM professions and use tech daily, so they develop some intelligent criticisms. Or, tech nerds, they write in obscure blogs about the flaws of AI and since they actually use it they can think of something intelligent about it.
People who cope with the idea stinking = masculine usually recycle info, needless to say their favorite author is unabomber.
Asking them to show us a list of "approved tech" isnt shallow. They mostly banned me and didnt reply to me, but In my opinion is the most relevant question when we engage their ideology. I notice some of these people perform the artificial personality of the disilluded tech enthusiast, or the failed engineer who "figured out the system", I consider it all bullshit born out of hollywood.
Until they frame a discussion with some model that allows to separate bad tech vs good tech I will not give them any respect.
