Wow, I cannot relate. I've never liked FPS for simply the shooting. I can enjoy FPS as team, command, strategy games, or if they have some other elements, but the shooting was always a part for me that seemed like the most boring and rudimentary possible core gameplay you could think of
Yeah, I can understand that. I like teamwork in some games but I'm primarily a solo gamer. Whenever someone wants to play multiplayer with me, I tend to only play for an hour or two maximum. I just like my own company, and being a hikikomori for the past 8 years, you get used to your own solitary confinement.
Seems like the sign of a restless mind. I think I could stay in voice call for 8 hours. It's always others who leave or run out of stamina so I never found out how long I can last. Granted I hardly speak a lot, most people who talked to me say this, they call me a 'passive conversationalist' or something along those lines.

I used to be the same and can still be if there's a good flow to the conversation. I've been compared to Asmongold by an ex and by one of my closest friends from high school. I can ramble a lot and talk about nothing. I have a really close relationship with my mum. We also have similar political opinions on a lot of shit. And I tend to have a pretty messy environment unless I'm dedicated to cleaning.
Yeah, Battlefield 6 is quite difficult. I'm pretty good at Call of Duty (especially Black Ops 6) but Battlefield is like a whole different ballpark to me. Maybe it's because I've not yet unlocked good guns or attachments plus all the hiding spots on every map make it harder to tell others apart. I find checking the minimap for other players helps a lot.
I almost got diagnosed as schizo. I Don't believe in 'disorders', 'manias', 'spectrums'. And Jung's experiments with psychoanalyzing himself into psychosis (being able to induce hallucinations at will) prove to me that everybody is "schizophrenic", and "going schizo" is a real thing, as far as I am concerned.
Holy crap that's a massive insult, that hurts. Well, yeah, I've been told I talk a whole ton about topics I'm passionate about. Mostly just infodumping I guess. Being close with your family, having right-wing(i am assuming is what u r referring to) views, a messy environment when u live alone and don't dedicate urself to cleaning, are all completely normal, I'm not even saying it's not normal to always clean a lot for example, but it's goes beyond what's simply adequate, although it can progress into obsession and a cardinal waste of time
Yeah nah, don't get me started on the more competitive shooters, I noticed it's one of the kinds of gameplay footage people put in the background of their videos that I never pay any attention to whatsoever, normally if there's gameplay it's at least a little bit catching (now that I think about it, someone shold start putting hotline miami gameplay at least, because it's incredibly catching) but not with shooters where there's not an awful lot of strategy involved
Yeah, psychology is a pseudo-science, I've always said. Outcomes are never the same, like with actual sciences, given how weird the brain is and how everyone has a completely different brain and outcome to each experiment. I personally don't believe in psychology as a science. It's odd how the one thing the human brain can't work out, is itself.

You're 18, right? So you might not remember this. But back in like 2010 to 2014 (give or take) people would often make videos with Call of Duty as the background footage and just talk about life stories or random topics they're interested in. I guess this evolved into commentary videos when LeafyIsHere came around. I miss the old 2010-era of YouTube.

People still do that. I wouldn't say I miss 2010 YouTube, we actually aren't eating that bad currently to begin with, and I'm not going to be nostalgic for a time I wasn't around for. But that definitely is the direction a platform like that should be heading in ,anyway.

Yeah, today's YouTube is decent minus the corporatisation of the landscape as well as all the AI videos, but I do love video essays when I'm eating. Also, I watched a good time travel iceberg last night while falling asleep. It was interesting.
