I think in a lot of ways yeah it is a very peasant thing to, perfect wording.
I don't think I gave it too much thought honestly untill my mother remarried a Jewish man and he said I would have to get the snip if I wanted to be a "man". But she divorced him and I stopped thinking about it again till highschool and then that's when I started questioning a lot of things in general. Reading a lot of different books from different perspectives on all types of things.
But that's the scary part of that, something really bad can be happening all around you and you just don't ever think to much about it and just like a cow chewing it's cud you never notice the farmer taking away your children for slaughter.
