I was reading a fun idea that all of Jewish/Christian/Muslim (basically all the Abrahamic cults) are just post Ragnarok and are the new religions of the world, I'm not saying that true but it's fun to think about.

And by Jewish and Christian standards animals don't have souls and are basically just biological robots running natures script, we broke that by eating the fucking fruit lol.

Or you believe in gnostic ideas and then shit goes sideways with the stories. So like a 4/5 D shadow projecting onto 3d space it looks different from any angle you look at it.

I appreciate gnostic stuff but some of it really makes me butthurt like sophia being absolved of everything when she causes all the problems but only demiurge is blamed it kinda pisses me off

Sophia immediately feels Remorse. She realizes she stepped out of line and "wept many tears." The Gnostic texts say her "Repentance" is what allows the higher light to eventually trickle down to save us.

The reason the Demiurge gets the "blame" isn't just because he exists; it’s because of his Arrogance. Unlike Sophia, who repented, the Demiurge looked at the empty void and said, "I am God and there is no other God beside me."

It isn't about Sophia and seeing a "woman getting away with a mistake," while sees the Demiurge as a "male being blamed for just doing his job." (Personally I don't think higher being should be look at with sexes but it's how our 3d brains work) Sophia represents Wisdom that overstepped. The Demiurge represents Ignorance that refuses to admit it’s wrong.

It's all about how they reacted and acted after they made mistakes. It's actually really good story about making mistakes.

But in lore she creates him then leaves him to despair in the void and demiurge out of boredom because what pride could he have when is the only one who existed or seemed to exist as he was left to rot? what else could he do? even if you take Mainlander idea of God's commiting suicide to from existence to non existence what else could he do really just kill himself or create? and yes he might be ignorant but did pleroma, sophia or the Monad cared for his suffering? from the way I see it he created more suffering out of suffering she created so the least she could do was to go and remove him

Another problem I have with gnosticism is the multiple personalities of Jesus like he says very nice things like "blessed are the solitary" but then in another gnostic text he makes fun of judas instead of trying to save him or something like that he says something along the lines "you are part of the rulers of this world" I don't get it why didn't he try to save his friend from becoming a traitor bastard if he knew what was going to happen too?
