Not everyone has a soul per say, it's a dynamic question that deserves an dynamic answer but to sum it up cut and dry; not everyone have a slice of the divine in them and not everyone has a soul and I want to stress this as heavily as I can, those factors do not give anyone the right to subjugate anyone, that's a quick way to lose whatever bit of soul of light you have in your life.

People like Daniel Dennett who explicitly say they think consciousness doesn't exist definitely don't have souls. One way to test if someone has a soul or not is to see how they respond to the vertiginous question. If their response to it is something like "The question is meaningless" or "Because you wouldn't be you if you were someone else", they probably don't have a soul.
