Same here, but my parents divorced, and after many years of court battles, my father yielded his part of the house to me and my brother, in order to not give it to my evil mother. The judge accepted, and they sold the house for a meagre amount. I was the only one living in that house back then, so they sold it quickly. Then I had to live with my evil mother in her apartment and it was the worst years of my life, where I suffered daily psychological violence. After she kicked me out, I started trading, using what was left of the money. I lost a lot of money at the beginning, but shrugged it off and kept going, until I was finally able to acquire financial independence.
Had she taken all that money, I would not be here, because I would have commited suicide. Instead she did it, one year after I departed. I was only informed about her death many months later, so I wasn't at her funeral. My father and my brother ended up buying crypto as well, but they didnt do well with it, selling at the bottom like most npcs do. Today I live under a planned economy, and I fake poverty because I live in a violent country. I still have trouble to negotiate renting, because I dont have a regular job. In the previous building I got slandered for free, because I live alone and receive no visitors. No matter how good you behave, the npcs will hunt you for being autistic.

between being uneducated and having no license being unemployed is almost a requirement

How'd getting a degree help me in any way? STEM related fields are oversaturated with entry level graduates and I'm pretty average myself in most regards.
