I think masculinity 101 is godfather movie. Basically you do what a feminist may call "emotional labor". Now, I dont mean that we gotta be mafia thugs or anything, but the mafia thug has a dayjob to do: emotional labor daily, involve himself in family affairs, be always present and work his logic thru intricate emotional situations.
Basically masculine = guy thats going to be mastering emotions all the time. Is what I think it is. Theres oher aspects, like you can be accepted by other men, you can retain a level of separation between you and collective so that you determine a sense of self and define who you are and what your going to do.
