Hating skin color is very basic. It's normal for the blue birds to fly with the blue birds. So its easy for someone with basic means and intelligence and means to practice. You will likely have some likeness with members of your race. It might seem too arbitrary for someone on your intellectual high horse but for people that don't have much means or livelyhood. Like a white person placed in prison or a poor neighborhood. The white person will be lucky if they are placed in a white prison or or white ghetto. Blacks tend to like whites with a lot of charisma. Smart rich people don't like racism because it doesn't serve their interests. The employer gets to choose the best regardless of race. Opportunities for high quality genetically diverse interactions are something to seek out. At the same time these wealthy intellectuals that believe in this and shame others into following in their footsteps are kind of hypocritical because the fact is that they would never move to an average black neighborhood. Not being racist benefits those that have a lot of choices in life that people can already come pre filtered. Or you can filter people who you want instead of just random members of certain races.
