And my reply was that humans do more than eat the other dog, they make it a game to invent new ways to cause suffering. I'm not sure who Lacan is but this is definitely somne kind of Freudian, probably unfinished business. It just doesn't make sense to creatively dwell on pain like that. It's not straight.
