Dreams.

I had a dream where I was working in a militarized, doomsday, dystopian sci-fi bunker. The world was being invaded by deep-space alien monsters, and we were all warrior scientists. For some reason, Mike Sera and Elon Musk were the team leads. The Earth was about to rotate to a point where the U.S. or Africa would be at the poles. A lot happened some of it violent, some of it sexy but in the end, the way we obtained food and resources was through a system of weighted tokens.

As a head scientist, I was kidding around with Mike Sera and admitted I’d found a way to bypass the weight system to get a glass of something. He didn’t take that well. I doubled down, leaned over, and told him he should get rid of the system because it made him seem like a bit of a Jew. He got so mad, he was already angry, but he became even more infuriated. He kept demanding, 'Say that again! What did you say?' over and over. I looked at him and said, 'Look, you already look upset, so I don't think I will.' He told me, 'Yeah, that’s right. Get out of my sight; I want you off the team.'

Lots of other things happened but that was the end before I woke up, it was pretty funny.

You don't have wild dreams? I'm a very vivid dreamer, I had a time in my early 20s when I was working 2 jobs and getting very little sleep where my dreams seemed like reality they were so mundane. It was weird.

What are your dreams like typically?

Interestingly, my dreams (usually at least) follow a pattern: it comes in two scenes. The first scene is usually some weird, slightly uncomfortable thing that's happening, and it could literally be anything. It's usually somewhat realistic, and I am not aware it is a dream. Then, the moment I gain awareness, the second scene starts and it's usually much more uncomfortable and I have to "resist" against the dream to wake up. Like, I'd literally try to wake up but everything, especially my body, start to vibrate as I resist against the dream. It takes some bit of resistance but I wake up at last.

Both scenes are usually different settings, but yeh, this is just a pattern. Many dreams have deviated from this pattern.
