This is way too random, but there was this point in my life a while ago where I realized everybody is at the center of their own world as much as I am the center of my own and that they have their own thoughts, battles, and struggles as I do. All the weight that I carry with me throughout life, many too carry their own and so much more. Idk why but in my eyes, it humanized everybody to a degree like never before, and I had this sense of newfound sympathy for people. I'd find myself randomly emotional for even the smallest of happenstance.
You're right, what really sucks about awareness is that it is irreversible...
