The only so-called "problem" with neo-conservatives, is that they are only conserving the values of today, so for example they're fine with gay marriage, but putting kids on wrong-sex hormones is not okay. Ted Kaczynski also clowned on them for supporting academia and technological progress while wishing to revert to tradition, a sisyphean effort. I can also see myself very clearly, that they are a humorous bunch. But still, at the end of the day, they are not Satan, anything but. While I cannot say the same about the modern left.
