Culture "Just seek therapy" is an incredibly shallow advice.

It's just a way of asking someone to not let their misery go to waste, and instead make someone else profit off of your misery.

9/10 times the people peddling this advice are not looking forward to help you in a pragmatic sense.

They just wish you stay where you are and are gaslit into thinking your situation is normal.

Not a fan of capitalism, but it's not surprising that psychology is one of the most poorly paid degrees out there.

That aside, even if the issues in your life are something that can't be immediately relieved, you will feel some sense of reprieve if you are making progress towards solving your problems.
