In the early 1940s to the mid-1950s lobotomy was a thing to do on a upptie women. It was used to treat, or often quiet, women displaying socially dysfunctional behaviors, such as anxiety, depression, disobedience, or emotional outbursts; rendering them docile, compliant, and domestic.

I find that to be comical and not because of what you might be thinking. It sorta ties into the fact that we/us/humanity no matter what era tend to imagine we are at the peek of intelligenice and that all science is settled. It also ties into morality and how it is fluid and ever changing.

Often we can all agree on some basics but in the end the campus moves often to fit the society at large.

And that linked together, the idea of we have peeked out on science, philosophy, and creation.

These days, we give them a chemical lobotomy with SSRIs, thinking it's less invasive and non-permanent, when in reality it often has a permanent and irreversible affect.

Yeah. It does come off very cyclical throughout the years.

The here and now is just a different method same basic results.

The funniest part is that they make you pay when you don't align with the powers that be. Even more so since you get the target to create its own down fall by medication, such as ssri or whatever pharma cocktail they have right now.

On the subject of women for a moment, a lot of people like to shit talk woman for a multitude of reason (some reasons valid some are not) but the little fact that slips by most people's minds is woman have been bombarded with drugs and bad media, to a truly disturbing extremes that almost makes the icepick lobotomy seem like mercy..

We just always think we know what's best in that single point in time, possible we might look back on this time with disgust at the amount of drugs we put into our body.

My end point being; is we as humans should try and show some humility about our lack of intelligence, our place in the universe, or lack of emotional control. Something we think is normal or "sweet" one day is a war crime the next.

Games with plenty of chromatic aberration, blurred backgrounds, low contrast, and yellow/purple filters, can also be considered a form of lobotomy.

Because I noticed this gaming trend, which started with the release of Windows 10 in 2015, and has increased ever since, leading to very shitty games with ugly characters and worst graphics than previous generations, have raised a generation of apathetic people, who will accept anything that is throw to them.
This general apathy comes from the bland interfaces (W10 has the worst interface in Windows history), the blurred backgrounds, the absurd amount of chromatic aberration, and those piss/shit color filters all over it. And every game, one after another, is released that way, with massive amounts of hype, and players are forced into it by peer pressure: if they dont play, they are "outdated" so not part of the milieu, being excluded from it. I used to have a account on LoversLab and was constantly attacked there by people who "work in the industry" due to me playing and using "old shit", which confirms the collective bias.

The modern gaming industry prepared the people to accept the surveillance state that is coming to your door. They prepared the masses for facial and fecal recognition, daily scans, and verification nightmares. And you will be pulled into it by the lobotomized masses of npcs. Modern gaming is lobotomy.
