If you want to travel then i would set that as your goal. Maybe learn indonesian whilst your waiting to regain your health as that will be appreciated among the locals and make life there easier.

Well it's been 3 years and i've just gotten worse so i won't keep my hopes up although i appreciate it.

Hell is a real place in the Hereafter.
Its a different qualification than having a CAE but most places will require c1 if you are not a native english speaker. Also i recommend trying to find an in person tefl certification place as many places will prefer those. r/TEFL has some good advice and people with experience that are willing to help. Just be careful of scams on the internet.
I heard Jakarta was largely english-speaking as well from a friend. Hopefully it'll come around soon so you can spend the next winter somewhere warm.
