Most attributes, personality triats, people we hang around(other than family maybe), beliefs we hold, none of that is permanent.
Maybe our current globalized world, which requires a lot of migration and change, adds fuel to the impermanence, but even without it the former statement is mostly true.
If I contact with people I used to hang out with earlier, I bet they'd not think of me nearly as much as they do for their current friends.
Most ideological beliefs I held 5 years ago have entirely changed.
It is this lack of permanence which I'm referring to. It makes me feel awful that I can't be certain that anything in my life will be carried with me forever.
