Help play2: real or marketing stunt?

Anybody know about this play2 video? Apparently it is lost media, and is a "creepy video".
Can't tell if this is a failed marketing stunt or if it's just some obscure video.

I found it on this Reddit post randomly


Was curious if anybody here got information on that. Most "reuploads" I found seemed to be either animated, AI-generated, remakes, or incomplete.

Apparently, people who viewed the video actually disagree on what the video contained? Some say it ends up gory while others say a paper was burnt or something.
