Should I upgrade my internet to Hobbit's NBN 500 plan?

I'm currently using home wireless 5g internet with SpinTel

My home is HFC technology however not FTTP fibre to the premises. HFC is basically a mix of fibre and cable tv copper.

I have had NBN 50 in the past which was paid by my family member. But they left now it's me paying for my own plan.

Now I pay for 5g home wireless which costs 60$ a month.
I want to upgrade to NBN 500 which will cost 63$ a month for the first 6 months.
Then 86$ a month from then on.

This will give me 500 Megabits per second download speed.
And 50 megabits upload.

Currently my internet is giving me 50 Megabits down and 10 megabits up.

Some benefits would be better download speed for downloading large files like games.

And the upload speed could be good for YouTube if I need to make money as a creator in the future.

Besides, Australia is way behind the rest of the world in terms of internet speed and has insane prices for it. So this will be a quality of life boost.

But I can't do it yet as it's the Christmas period and not a good time. So maybe next year around mid January.
