Have you ever read Kill All Normies? It's a left-wing take on the culture war around 2016. I don't agree with the author politically, but I enjoyed it. From what I remember (don't quote me on this, though, since it's been at least four or five years since I read it) it was pretty nonpartial.
As someone who was involved in the "Great Meme War" during high school on the side of 4chan, I found it a good book to reminisce on.
