My opinion: Emotional intelligence is redundant. There is 1 intelligence, an emotion is a signal. A more developed mind is able to produce more emotions. Emotions can also expand your mind perceptions. For example, if you learn nordic language, your eye vision will expand, and you will see light bending around flowers, or see more flowers than you seen previously. Is it a miracle? No, its just your attention has been recalibrated.
Example: Colors are many. Paint with colors is different for all humans. Despite colors are the same. Not all humans "discover" all colors. Some humans paint with some colors and they prefer them over others. In the end all paintings differ.
Rizzolatti at parma, he discovered brain does not process action and feel as "abstract data". The brain fires same neural circuits as if you were performing that action or feeling that feel. Which means emotions are signals, related to ones ability to attune to reality.
Obviously such a theory is deeply anti-communist. I recommend it because youre italian, go around give honor to the superior italian science, and the superior italian poetry that was never trasnslated correctly in other tongues. Superior italian language makes you mind explode, it gives you word power beyond your wildest imagination. Its like no other language, it sounds beautiful if you attune your mind to reality.
