Discussion You cant beat the original Naruto

The original mogs Shippuden HARD. The atmosphere of the first one is immaculate then in Shippuden they start pulling out a bunch of crazy stuff that kinda takes the power scaling way too far. I mean it's not that bad but we can all agree that Boruto is a trainwreck and Naruto was justified in doing the neglect-no-jutsu on that fool.

Just so much soul in some of these old drawings by Kishimoto. Most anime these days use the same cookie cutter animation style with clean edges and no variation. Naruto just goes way harder with that eastern scroll type design.

What are you guys thoughts on Boruto anyway? I cant stand this little pipsqueak and yknow let me know if its better in the manga because to be honest with yall it might go pretty hard. I heard they have a whole freakin alien plotline with like a cosmic rasengan. But yeah again, the anime shouldve been axed. Maybe they were trying to replicate the idle days type shit of the first Naruto before the timeskip but it didnt work because anime Boruto has a stick up his ass.

It’s called SHITpudden for a reason, it started off fine up until the end of the tenchi bridge arc then it become rampant with filler like bleach to the point it’s unwatchable. They need a dbz kai version of shippuden where they cut out all the filler

Too right, sir. OG Naruto made sense. They still felt like ninja. SHIT-PUT-IN made them feel like Japanese wizards with bandanas. No. That doesn't do it for me. Real nin are cunning, stealthy, exploit openings in their enemies' weaknesses to strike. Instead, we get a contest of who can farm the most powerful dojutsu (eye bullshit). Then Madara shows up from reanimation and for some reason, has the two most powerful dojutsu in the setting. Because of course he does!

OG will always > Shippuden. I'm sorry.
