really dislike taking my gf on dinner dates

She's always begging me to take her to dinner. I just feel like she's being food motivated and wants a free high quality dinner with food so she doesn't have to feed herself & rack up a grocery bill that day. Since she literally talks about when our next date is and where we are going at least every other day it feels like I can never make it truly altruistic on my part as it I'm just agreeing to her demands.

On the other hand, when we were first dating, I wouldn't give af and would actually be pretty eager to rack up a bill since I got to hit after, so idk. Maybe I'm the issue. What do you all think/what would you do.
