Getting a microphone should I buy an overpriced giga mic or settle with the crappy mics

I feel like buying a crappy xlr mic just to use it for some text to speech and basic recording but idk. It sounds worse definitely I can tell.

You should identify the best mic that somewhere around the middle of what you are willing to spend, im not sure why they make it hard to find a good mic for a good price.

I got the mic that was a good price and good ratings and its just as bad as my headset mic.

I could have just bought a second headset ffs
