Yeah why not? I wouldn't say it's newbie friendly in person. It's very rule heavy and some cards and rules arnt that easy to follow but if you play it online it's a bit easier to get a handle on. The real game is kind of a money sink. But it's very fun if you ask me, more then any card game.

Yeah I kind of have little social interaction these days. Need to talk to people in settings that aren't school or commute or whatever. Would be really nice to do something fun like that if it's accessible.

There are several meetups near where I live on meetup. It does feels really really cringe to meet people like that for some reason.

Yeah man go for it! Most people are very open. There are different formates that might be a little more forgiving but yeah at its basic level the game is straight forward.

I think it was because I preferred elder scrolls legends and quit. After ESL shut down i didnt feel like starting over on such a big ccg
