You get a fight or flight response and can sometimes develop a trigger sound, so when it happens it’s like your body is in physical pain

And it’s usually associated with Autism so yeah the two coexist, that’s why you see some of those autistic kids cover their ears

But I don’t have it that badly though, it’s just some loud sounds I can’t stand..
