Anyone play the disgaea games?

Got 5 for free so I checked it out. Fun, I like the combat.

I feel like the english dub (it was set to that by default) is a little cringe lol, would rather play it in japanese, but was too lazy to figure out how to change

Can be a bit annoying/childish at times but its fine. I have slaves and toys hahahaha

I used to play the fuck out of Disgaea Hour of Darkness, Suikoden, and FF Tactics on PS2.
Tbh the more recent Disgaea games are too convoluted and filled with bs
