Arthur C. Clarke's Third Law: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." (From his 1962 book Profiles of the Future.)Or is everything physical matter ?
Like Stargate?I’ve only had precognition so far. But really powerful ones and unexplainable
Ghost are burn-ins to the holographic reality we live in.I never seen no ghost![]()
what does it mean? ;pGhost are burn-ins to the holographic reality we live in.
has anyone in here ever been able to Astral travel? the only thing I ever managed was to barely lucid dream but it is insanely hard and as you guys know I live in a hard environment to achieve it I would appreciate any tip for lucid dreaming too but I'm afraid they will be the same old ones
bro I hate that, noArthur C. Clarke's Third Law: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." (From his 1962 book Profiles of the Future.)
A Roman seeing a smartphone would think it's straight-up sorcery: a glowing rectangle that summons voices from nowhere, shows moving pictures of distant places, accesses infinite knowledge, or even predicts weather/fortunes. To them, it'd be divine intervention or demonic—miracles or witchcraft—because their understanding of physics, electricity, radio waves, semiconductors, etc., didn't exist. Same with electricity itself (which we take for granted now) or antibiotics curing what they'd call a curse/possession.
We are both holding options that's really all that is.bro I hate that, no
smartphones wouldn't be divine to them cause they weren't stupid but it would be novel
nah you're falling for the modern atheistic-scientific narrativeWe are both holding options that's really all that is.
No we are just holding two different options and you don't like mine. Idk what it is with this place that people can't just state an option say I reject it and move on, instead it's a diatribe about how one person is so wrong and the other is so right. Respectfully I'm not going down this path and look your option is still yours and mine is mine and no one lost anything.nah you're falling for the modern atheistic-scientific narrative
don't think the gods weren't real and myths weren't founded in truth because of le modern explanation of evolutionary reasons why we created gods in our heads and projected fantasies onto real natural phenomena etc.
what about elites who believe in occult and believe it grants them powerNo we are just holding two different options and you don't like mine. I mean we can argue about it if you really want...
It feels like we are talking past each other. I think you’re misreading my intent. I’m not pushing an atheistic narrative to shut down yours. My point about the romans is that the supernatural is real to the observer until they understand the underlying system.what about elites who believe in occult and believe it grants them power
they use rituals and technology both
also where does your conscience come from?

We actually agree more than you think, whether it's John Dee or modern elites using tech and ritual, we’re talking about people tapping into systems that the average person doesn't understand. I'm not discarding the occult I'm saying it's part of a larger reality we’re still trying to get a full grip for. We’re just looking at the same mountain from two different sides.
P.S. I think supernatural and magic are often just placeholders we use until we find a better description for the mechanics of the universe. It doesn't make the experience any less real, it just means our vocabulary is still catching up to the phenomenon.

Buddy I’m not agreeing with your take on the Romans. I’m saying that magic is just a word humans use for stuff they haven't written the manual for yet. The Romans would have thought a phone was magic, facts.bro are you AI this is chat GPT agreeing with me response
Are you implying a conscience is supernatural? Like morals or are you saying consciousness is supernatural? In any case you really seem to want to argue about your world view that I think we share but from different ends of the same horse shoe. Idk but I didn't come here to argue.also where does your conscience come from?
Yes, and if you haven't even seen something that is of that presence, then you're either lazy or fearful of ever encountering the fact that most of life is already connected with it and is present with you on a daily.Or is everything physical matter ?

I always think about this often when this subject comes up...what about elites who believe in occult and believe it grants them power
they use rituals and technology both
