If you have respect for yourself then i would say be carful. There's a difference between small artists who actually are trying to make something everlasting and plants doing it for propaganda to further agendas. Not every artist and genre is some cia plot, thats fucking stupid. But yeah there are plenty of examples of cia involvement like rap, punk, rock n roll ect… shit even in war times they used propaganda in music. My notion is if they are being played on the radio constantly, going on national tours then it's highly likely they are a plant and should not be entertained. I would say strictly stick to the underground but there are plenty examples as well of artists who use to make genuine music, became semi big from that, got high jacked and then are being told by executives of what they can or cannot say in their music… I tend to listen to underground artists who didn't sell out and respect their craft and listeners. The artists who try to bring community and are about the people. The artists who do not need 20 security guards at shows or in public like a bitch. Not the artist only wanting your money and could give fuck about your name. You're just a dollar sign to some of them.
