EXP scroll in games are these pickup items that give you +600 exp points without doing the chores. In pokemon, the concept of "exp boost" was tackled with rare candy. If you give your pokemon a candy, he levels up but will not get stat boosters due to interacting with types of pokemons. Pokemon gets 1 more level base stats added.
When you read a forum post, listen to youtuber oral narration or blogpost you get a piece of secondary knowledge that gives you a fast levelup in understanding (exp booster pack), but it bypasses the slower, more structured "training" youd get from primary sources. EXP booster packs are, like anything else, a tradeoff. So if yuo take them, then you miss the hidden stats gains.
Rare candy cloning = fast level increase without EV training
As result of feeding pokemons on rare candies they get higher level but they become weaker than properly trained pokemons who have optimized stats.
So, in terms of RPG we can say summaries on the internet give us the following exp boosted stats:
- +XP
- + concept expansion
- verbal diarrhea, learn more redditor names and concepts
- autism ++
- speed bumped learning
- increased error detection. Reddit mode activated.
But primary sources add to that the following stats:
- slower XP but optimized
- critical thinking hyperreddit mode
- model builder stats boosted
- epistemic stats boosted
I think I implement it into my porngame, I will add long internet shitposts. I mean, you find an exp scroll, read it, get exp. Or, dont read it and play without the exp booster.
