Is determinism real?

I stand corrected by the way. The Lord said we have free will, but the only choice we have is Satan's Dominion or God's Kingdom. Everything else, God is doing and running and deciding, in all else He takes over. This is the only thing we do.

Free will doesn't run counter to determinism imo many christian faiths believe in determinism. If anything since God is all knowing he knew that his choice to give man free will would lead to their suffering. I believe man can have functional autonomy and freedom of choice but his fate is already sealed.

If you were told that the universe and by extension your fate was predetermined and your choices were circumstantial, wouldn't it make you so sad?

It's better for individuals to believe that they have the capability to change things. This belief in itself is important for self-realization.

Nope. Chance Exists. Easily proven -
For ex. the creation of Non-Deterministic Random Bit Generators (NRBGs) or True Random Number Generators (TRNGs) they produce random bits or numbers reliant on physical phenomena such a Quantum/Atmospheric/Electronic noise, Radioactive decay as its entropy source - these phenomena are fundamentally indeterministic by Nature. Legit "ontologivally" true lol :chudover:

Muh "Chance dosent exist" Muh "Limited knowledge"
Yet humans somehow have a seemingly supernatural ability to harness something that 1; Dosent Exist & 2; have Limited Knowledge of

The Lord already knows everything. While we have free will in choosing whether we want to be in Satan's Dominion or God's Kingdom, everything else is determined.

This is what i struggle to cope with sometimes, and only feel existential dread. Ok sure, it’s comforting knowing i didnt cause my suffering, and that everything i did was always going to happen. But what about the things I did accomplish? Or every little decision i make? My brain automatically makes me think I AM making the decision, when it’s already set in stone before I render the answer consciously.

then what determines our actions? do you believe it's random?
I think it can't be random if I'm here right now at the moment is because I must be if I was spawned in a different place I would no longer be myself but someone else so my parents were fated to fuck even if circumstances around them were extraordinary they did and not others and they did the exact time they did so I was to have the exact experiences I did and apart from that my tastes were determined by a combination of my genetics and environment I didn't choose even the fact that the smell of seafood makes me wanna puke or that this fruit gives me a breeze with the smell while this other I'm indifferent to it but at the same time this techonological nightmare might have caused my tinnititus of course the defeat of painter affected me if the universe I lived was one where the chain of predetermined events could led to where his victory was possible we would live in a homogeneous friendly society with more contact with nature or would we?
