Yes, bad genetics, bad place of birth, etc., are all against you. Statistically, the person with worse genetics will lose more of the time. Not all of the time, and in there are choices to be made which can move the odds. People who won't accept this don't want to face their own failures.

If I think back to whenever I did baseline testing (as in, was graded on a percentile compared to the average person), I always scored 99th percentile+. And let me tell you I am not even saying this to brag, but whatever I did felt like an utter joke to me. Go look at SAT problems or something right now and tell me that they aren't extremely easy.
I am not some Einstein type genius. I do not have a 150 IQ. I'd say I'm smart but ultimately nothing special. So how was I able to breeze through life and school?
