Discussion Is it worth it to fall in love?

Sometimes I have seen many dreams shatter, die, fall silent because of falling in love, because of a relationship with a girl. Young people full of dreams, with the intention of making them come true, are stopped by love, a force that in the end runs through everyone. Even Ares, the god of war and militia, was pierced and defeated by the love of Venus. So what makes me think that love can not corrupt my most immaculate destiny?

I think the only time where love can exist is when you are teen tbh, you get attracted to things like good personality and character instead of something shallow like money or looks

Well, earlier ages there were communities and families were more close to each other, so at least people cared about each other a bit since those times people had to depend on each other but now, everyone is on their own they don't need anyone

finding it promotes prosocial behaviour and an increase in your QoL, though only if you find someone who shares the same delusion. only then can you yield any meaningful outcomes from it. unfortunately though, romanticism is dead. love is a mere formality with the end-goal of producing children. its current pathos in modern culture is inherited from popular media, like romcoms and the like
