It just gave an outlet for people with zero concern for how they make other people feel to ghost and flake on a never ending stream of people.
I would say 95% of people meet that description, finding a decent human being is honestly like finding a needle in the haystack, even the ones who seem decent on the surface are often shitty creatures.
The mobile phone was the first step in giving people an outlet to treat others poorly but the internet on that phone was the hammer blow
