I find love is a humorously obfuscating, overly broad word mostly due to all the cultural influences… romcoms, poems etc.finding it promotes prosocial behaviour and an increase in your QoL, though only if you find someone who shares the same delusion. only then can you yield any meaningful outcomes from it. unfortunately though, romanticism is dead. love is a mere formality with the end-goal of producing children. its current pathos in modern culture is inherited from popular media, like romcoms and the like
It should be called bonding or courtship… even intimacy is a better term.
