Do you truly feel happy?
I feel like in the modern world people spend so much time chasing meaning, via religion, family, work, hobbies, etc, and it's often never truly enough.

But in pre industrial times you just lived, and were happy. Meaning was inherited - through the village, the same people around you your whole life, common values, even just the lack of comparison. Now? I'm not sure if many of us will ever die happy. Purpose and meaning have been killed.

Im inclined to think modern humans will ruin it. All the AI waifus will need to be older than you. You wont be able to get free services because retarded economy. It will suck balls so hard that people will have to stay in fema detention facilities and people will request to be euthanized.

We don't build it per say, in a Landian view, the future pulls the present, retro causality. AI and capitalism are trying to ensure their own existence, accelerating the past, trying to summon itself. A planetary scale optimization system still pretty much sci-fi as we are pretty far away from an AGI. But the idea of it's existence it's pretty much a confirmation of it.
